Gabba Gabba Hey! Long Beach Today!

Went to the August Long Beach Cycle Swap today. Here's a link to 225 pictures. Lot's of Sportsters to be found and quite a few for sale too. If you are in the market, here's a good place to wheel and deal, evos or ironheads, newer or later, there's a wide selection.

(more) Movie Review

PSYCHOMANIA (1971) What a way to waste and hour and a half. Yes, it's a "classic" English Biker flick. Still I would recommend not spending the time on it. It had black magic frogs, a spoiled lead biker who had a gang but cries "mother!... mother!" a story line that didn't, and no nudity, no Sportster (take it easy now...), and no memorable scenes that I recall. I'll throw it down a star just because someone filmed it, and that's their pride and joy.

(All the movies I'm reviewing are Netflix rentals).

Movie Reviews

BEYOND THE LAW - The drunk from Two and a Half Men was about 20 years younger and worked undercover to buy drugs and guns through impersonating a 1% patch holder. He manages to ride in while wearing his colors, into a "Jackals" wedding and soon gets laid. Not a bad picture for being 18 years old.

HELLS ANGELS 69 - Much older film (40 years ago) and quite entertaining period piece. Was blown away with Las Vegas strip shots where I didn't see a single building over 4 or 5 stories tall! Worth watching. Includes fist fights, fake patch holders, drunken mayhem, bank robbing, Bulltaco desert riding, and cool choppers.

Checking Out

Been hanging out over at Chop Cult lately, pretty styling for sure. There's some upcoming events I want to remind everyone about. Long Beach Swap Meet 8/23. Primer Nationals in Ventura on 9/5 & 6. I'll be at both events.

Another #1 Sportster Picture Favorite

I remember reading an article about this builder / bike in an old issue of the Horse (or Ironhorse? Not really sure). Then I remember right clicking these pics from somewhere because the bike was so bitch'n. Then I found where I had stored them about two years ago... so I'm stoked. I haven't seen this bike at any local shows/events. I hope it's still running!

Chop Cult takes over Wx3

There's a new Cult in town.

Check out Chop Cult if you haven't already. Going to point you toward a Sportster pic thread and then recommend you check the photodump for more Sporties. Think I'll be surfing the Cult for a while. Friend up if you see me there. Allen.
