This only works if a.) fry is talking to leela, and b.) since Fry began his cryogenic hybernation on new years eve 1999/2000 and didn't wake up for 1000 years, Sons of Anarchy didn't premier until September 3rd, 2008, so he must have been able to watch re-runs after he woke up int he future... either way, it was a dumb joke.
