Parking Lot at Long Beach

Random photography from this month's Long Beach Cycle Swap

Fuck It

Saw this a month or two ago. It's got the South Bay Swoop that is as much a part of Southern California history as Dick Allen and Fat's Noriega founded. This Ironhead has new tins this month. Still available. You know where to find it if you're interested....

Wednesday night we had a chance to attend the pre-party Art Show and Kickoff for the one and only Motorcycle Film Festival here in Brooklyn, NY at Genuine Motorworks. Stacie B. London (of Eastside Moto Babes fame) curated an art show at Genuine, Pabst Blue Ribbon and Sailor Jerry provided the booze for the kickoff, and later on we got a chance to see "Take it to the Limit" hosted by Director Peter Starr, one of the judges of the fest, who actually did a pretty compelling Q & A with the crowd afterward. Here are some pics from the night!

Last week brought the inaugural year of the UNINVITED show to Brooklyn and opening amidst a shroud of mystery and controversy, no one was quite sure what to expect. Admittedly, I've been sneaking into this guy's secret warehouse parties for years, so I figured it would be epic - but this was something else. A lineup like a stoner metal fan's entire music collection of bands, as professional of a stage setup as I have ever seen in Brooklyn, and a mass of art, artists, skaters, tattooists and bikers in the Gowanus Canal neighborhood having a giant party for four days straight was something to behold. Have a look below at some shots from the show.

There was a huge crowd this year at the Brooklyn Invitational. It was an epic party with amazing bands and killer bikes that really showcased some mechanical innovation as well as design. Amazing builder talent from all over the world. Here's a few from the main room we got a chance to see...

Paul Wideman

Jeff Wright

Nicke Svensson

Walt Siegl

With all the heavy-hitter chopper builders coming to join the party, sometimes what's outside the Invitational can rival what's going on inside. Every year we look forward to see who got there first and what they're riding into town.

So I've been told by the powers that be at Ladyhump International that there hasn't been enough posting of Brooklyn related content on our end - so here we go! Every day all week I'll be posting content from the Brooklyn Invitational, the Indian Larry Block Party, The UNINVITED show, the Motorcycle Film Fest and anything else we can get our hands on this week showcasing everything that is "So Chopper" about Brooklyn! Lets start with the best things first!
