So here's the deal. I remember, slightly, going to the GNRS (not to be confused with GNR, which instantly comes to mind. Sweet Child o' Mine) ... anyway, last year. There was some pretty cool stuff there last year. This year, was everything else plus some Denver's Cycles. Not that this stuff ain't cool, it kinda is. It's hard enough for me to accept Vans, let alone all these Rat Rods (?)(I don't know what you call them. Rather, I don't know what you'd "like" to call them. Or, rather, I don't know what you'd like to call them "today"....) So, in the next few days, I'll do my best to honor the Denver's greatness and some other pretty interesting stuff, but I really didn't even take as many pictures as I usually do. Some entire buildings I walked through without a single picture. Just not my ball of wax. Pin-striping, yeah ok. Metal flake, pretty sweet. There was a huge train diorama just beyond the show that was open, that I took an instant liking too and might have actually missed some of the show hall exhibits?

There was about 25 (give or take) bikes parked in Lot 9 for the Grand National Roadsters Show when I got there. I'd post some pictures of the other bikes there, but aside from the fact that they "rode" in, there wasn't much to show unless you like stockers and accessorized stockers, take your pick. Inside the show wasn't much different, about half the bikes were Denver's, the other half had a sprinkling of coolness and some outright deserved the sledge hammer (Anarchy Burger, hold the PC). I'll give you this; if magazines like Ol' Skool Rodz, Car Kulture Delux, and Street Roder give your mailman a crooked spine, then this IS the show for you. I'm pretty much anti- magazine these days, and car stuff has gone just over the Psycho Billy top for me. You think you got a black tee shirt problem at biker events, go to one of these shows. It really goes by age too; young with hair - wear black shirt, blue cuffed jeans, black boots, and grease your hair. Old and grey/no hair - white shirt tucked in to help hernia, denim shorts, brown slip ons or comfortable walking tennis shoes. Add, beer in hand. Stand in the middle of aisle and talk, ignore any traffic congestion you're causing because "you're old" damnit!

Must have not really made that much of an impression on me last year for me to forget about putting this on the Events listing this year, plus there's been like zero discussion about it in local circles (jerks). Paul Michael Glaser will be in attendance. Let's face it, he's no Sons of Anarchy cast member... ha ha ha, but that was last month's Abortionfest (and when I say Abortionfest, I mean the Easyrider show. Make no mistake about it. That show sucked.) So, is anyone hitting this one or are we going to let the phyco billy's own the dance floor? $20 adults. $10 kids. $10 more for parking probably... If nothing else I can post pictures from last year and maybe no one will notice the difference? Jus' sayin. Still think'n about going.

On the plus side; I appreciate the fact that this guy chopped a shaft driven motorcycle. That in itself, is a "pho pa" (faux pas) in today's moder Chopper God Culture. You'd not likely see the bad boys crew ever making a bike like this *(you know who you are). Won't make you one of the "hip" crowd but you get my respect sir.

It's finaaaaalllly arrived. The Canon S100 has been extremely tardy in it's arrival on the market. For those of you who care little for camera advancement(s) in the world, I know... it's almost snore inducing most of the time. I've been waiting for this point and shoot GPS baby since it's original "release date" of Nov. 4th 2011. We'll I guess there was some pretty major flooding in Indonisia during October of 2011 and it crippled the production to, not merely a stand still, but a hundred paces in reverse.

I can't wait to start using this baby on the road. All those times it's "too dark" to capture an image are over!

It finally came today. The Mexican Mini-Unicorn Pops I ordered from .... Mexico. Not really, I live in Los Angeles (for some, Mexico's largest city) and picked these little gems up at the local mercado. They're so "unknown" that the Cashier tried to scan them and they didn't have a price on file. He asked me what they cost. "Free." He declined. $1.00. Okay.

And, what a waste of a (US) dollar. Apparently they're made from Unicorn Seimen and NOT unicorn horns as they were all "melted" inside their little baggies and the sugar (?) had all drained to the bottom of the bags creating a little sticky liquid pool of spooge and leaving a hard plastic(y) shaft along the stick.

Doesn't mean the partys over! Just cause one small bag of candy disappointed you. Bring out the Hipster dancing girls who re-enact Son's of Anarchy episodes through interpritive dance with swords...

When we decide, "you know what? Let's get drunk tonight" eventually, along the trail of the Wizrd Staff King, we pause to remember one of Lady Hump's biggest celebrity fans. RIP Miss "Death by Misadventure" who blew a .416 from the grave.

Let's talk about the Long Beach Cycle Swap (again)

Some of the bikes (some) are pretty cool that people ride in to hang out, shoot the shit, talk to friends, etc. etc. How many are cool? Well, we'll get to that later. First let's talk about the continual watering-down of this Swap Meet (and yes, you can always fall back on the "well, at least you have a swap meet..." I know I know. Save it for someone who cares.)

We spent the day conducting a survey of all Vendors at the Long Beach Cycle Swap. A few of my bro's said I was stupid to waste my time and I reminded them that I waste a lot more time actually publishing the Lady Hump Blog anyway, so if you're good at something... really good at something... and you have a passion for it... then go ahead and do it.

It's not like your gonna hurt anyones feelings by telling them the truth?

If you look you'll find some neat stuff, custom fab, and inspired genius. But you have to look hard.

... harder.

... Really really harder.

Let's get back to "what's cool." What's cool is one mans opinion v. anothers. You might actually like to spend $35K on a stock top of the line Harley Davidson with monthly payments until your little juvenile delinquits have little juvenile delinquint bundles of joy of their own?

So I'm down for "Naming and Claiming" that by all measures of worth, SPORSTERS are the coolest bike on the face of the Planet, in the known Universe, and in all other Realms and/or Dimensions, including both Heaven and Hell. Word mofo! Spill a 40 for the Quad!

There's a lot of bikes there. Most are Mayan MC type bikes with Fat Ape Hangers, but the selection is varied and wide ... wait for it ... "much like the tires on the bikes!"

There's cool shit to see. Less cool shit to buy. Non-cool shit you have to try NOT to look at and it's hard as hell to take pictures of cool stuff that don't by default have other shit in the background.

I think in this post alone, I've used the word "shit" more than at any time over the course of the entire Lady Hump Blog history. But, we are talking about the Long Beach Cycle Swap after all ... and it's not like you haven't read this here before a couple dozen times.

... as if old is a relative term I can apply to anything that happened at any point in the past. So I was cleaning up a mess of files and thought I'd share some pics I probably never did anything with back in 2010 from the Born Free 2 show in Signal Hill, CA.

For some reason, I feel in rare form today. Good thing I'm not a steak.

Let's see how many people pinch this one (above). It kicks ass, I'd take it. I did, with a camera!

Quick interlude;

You know how you go to all these "motorcycle" shows (events, parties, whatever's and who care's? right) well, you know how you see a shit load of photographers but you never see their photographs anywhere?

... and then there's the opposite; there's the mother shit load of blogs out there and the they'er run by guys who don't take photos? (Yes, I know. They pinch them.) If there was just some way I could put my chocolate in your peanut butter this world would be a better place! Praise the Genius who mixed Mayoneese and Catsup and discovered 1000 Island Dressing right! I know!

Here's how that went;

You'll instantly be in the top 10-20% of all Blog Superhero's (and I don't mean sandwhiches).

A little local history from Point Fermin / White Point

(I said a "little" history, so take it for what it's worth) Most people have heard about and/or visited Walker's Cafe at Point Fermin in San Pedro. Located adjacent to the Point Fermin Light House (now a museum). A local favorite "hit" spot for bikers cruising for a beer while rounding the Palos Verdes Peninsula.

A wee bit ago, there was a land slide along the coast about 1 mile from Point Fermin nearing White Point. Right where the road is now fenced off is the entrance to a pretty cool natural preserve. You might want to take a walk through if you're a Los Angeles history buff or just like seeing some ol' World War II installations.

You can't really see much of anything from the ground, but take 10 minutes and walk over the hill, and you'll find yourself amongst some pretty cool historical areas.

Above White Point is Battery Paul D. Bunker(s) with, during WWII, housed 2 16 inch guns which defended the Port of Los Angeles. The guns are gone now but the structures are part of an open to the public nature preserve type area you can roam through (free).

What's still inside these welded door installations? Funny you might ask. There's tunnels. Lot's of tunnels. You can't get into them easilly any longer, but when I was a kid, before this place was "transformed" into a park in 1999, this was one of my playgrounds. We'd explore tunnels between battery embankments and tunnels that (at least then) all led to dead ends. All I can pretty much remember is flashlights going dead while in the deepest parts of the tunnels, coming out covered in dust, and wet dank smell of dookie from homeless peoples I presume.

Then in someones back alley I spotted a miniature of the Vincent St. Thomas bridge, so I snapped a pic of that too...

Apocalypse Vans ~ Shaggin' Waggon Mobile Fall Out Shelters

Like I said, Vans are OUT unless they're prepared to survive the coming nuclear end of the world, every chick on the planet is bald (top and bottom), and unless you can carry your own mobile-still ~ you ain't never gettin' your drink on again. Forget your "blunt", farming is over, you'll never be able to light up again. You might, and I stress "might" find some mushrooms if you're lucky. Forget the grocery store or Quick-e-mart cause theres probably less that a couple hundred thousand people left living. You gotta do two things; 1.) Brew for Yourself and 2.) Keep it Moving.

What the hell has this got to do with motorcycles? About as much as any "motorcycle" or "Biker" blog the same that keeps on keepin' on the pictures of 70's Shag Cages (aka Mobile Crime Scenes). At least I'm thinking past the "cool" factor where it's all "hip" to have a Van cause theirs some uncomfortable mini-couches in the back and you get a babe back there, you gotta keep the motor running cause the only chance you're going to have of "makin" it with her is if the fumes from the exhaust take her out before she comes to her senses and boogies.

So I'm thinking, what the hell are we going to do when the end arrives on December 21st later this year? I wanna keep my bike, but I also don't wanna get hit over the head by some radiation mongoloid when I'm tarppin' it next to the freeway? So, I'm going to need a mobile stash spot. The easiest biker protection mobile command center would be just to roll out with a Armored Car (the kind they use to pick up money around town. Remember, money won't mean anything after the end of the world...), but I gotta think beyond just the bikes and spare parts. I'll need living quarters, a still, a place to hold barrels for beer fermentation, a large gasoline carrying capacity and more of the same for the ladies we resuce from damnation and the Bro's who'll enevitably invite themselves to tag along. Plus we'll need guns and ammo. Lot's of it to ward of the hoards of glowing zombies. Never thought of all this at once hu? Better start making your plans now!

Shovel build; first thing I noticed. The location of the gas tank. If it was built in Japan, you'd expect to find the gas tank lower on the back bone. It's something I've been noticing... and I'm sure you've already figured it out. For some reasons builds in the USA have the tank higher on the bone than the same style (whatever you wanna call that style, just don't call it a "Bobber" please) from Japan.

We might take the freeways over the Sepulveda Pass, through Downtown Los Angeles, up over Coldwater Canyon or straight up Fairfax and over Laurel Canyon; anything possible when great minds come together and try to read a map. Can't say which but it'll be a fun "quicky" unless there's a breakdown?

One thing that is a constant at this show is the sheer number of props that are brought into the fold. Halloween themed props are the #1 Biker Choice for Accessorizing the showroom floor surrounding your bike. Whether it's Skulls, Demons, Rats, Bones, Spiders, or (this years up and coming favorite, thanks in no small part to Sons of Anarchy) The Grim Reaper! Second Banana props include the following themes; Cowboys, Surf, Drag Boats and Race Cars, Mexi Blankets, Boobs, Beer, and Marijuana smoking. You know what I'm talking about. Don't try and deny it you hypocrates. Yeah, whatever, you didn't inhale. Right.

My heart missed a beat when I saw the power plant in this AVP themed bike.

If there is a Hell. And, for some unimaginable reason, I find myself there. This is bike that I'll be forced to polish every day, without end.

Now, I'm not picking on any single bike in particular. So relax the panty pulling for a minute. In general, reference to all the bikes at this show that are "new" builds; So it begs the question. Who, exactly, rides these bikes? (no one) Where do they ride them? (no where) Why do they ride them? (to be the center of attention) Musicians are ego fueled true. But, bike builders? What do they gain? (I'm sure there's an element that will take their business to their shops. But how large of an element? To sell them what? Catalog accessories because no one is buying these bikes in mass) How do you look at something, and decide, I'll take this so far even the likes of Lady Hump will short curcuit from looking at it? Do they dream of electric sheep in a perverse way? When they're done, do they stand back and slap each other on the back (side, below the belt) and crack open a Coors, go home, kick the wife and sleep with the Dog?
Let me go spend $40K customizing a bike and park it in a shop with a "Do Not Touch" sign... isn't what it's all about no matter what.

Something seriously just grounds me in the minimalist build. Take a stock bike. Make removal a larger percentage of work done on the bike than modification. Add to the bike as little as possible unless absolutely necessary for speed or performance. Ride the bike as much as possible for the joy of every day you wake. Which, forces me to acknowledge, "Live to Ride. Ride to Live" ain't such a bad thing when compared to this "The Circus is in Town!" attraction. I apologize to the Harley Davidson Motor Company for all the fun I've made of you in the past (but retain the right to make additional fun of you in the future so suck it).

I'm in no way a "fan" of the Easyrider show (big surprise). I hesitate to imagine what it would be like to live in a "biker" world such as they present. They do however, have an element of decency (and by that I mean, a "few" cool bikes) littering the show room floor alongside some of the worst bikes I've ever seen (and by that I mean, the absolutely worst bikes I've ever seen). I'll present some examples and let you be the judge(s) for yourself. You might like them, you might not. Your choice. (But if they're monstorusly ugly, I'll still poke them with a stick for a giggle.)

I remember shooting some pics when it was in a clean-up phase, so I dug those out for G who requested some more pics on the bike. There's also some pics from Operation Illusive (or Elusive, but "ill'n" sounds more "Villain" so we'll keep misspelling it for the gangsta' sake) Unicorn. ABORTIONFEST Returns to the L.A. Convention Center!!!

No it doesn't. Abortionfest 2012 moved to the Anaheim Convention Center located next to the happiest place on earth, Disneyland! And what a better venue than next to Mikey Mouse and Goofey, than to display the most God Awful' Bikes the like of which the World has Never Seen Before (unless they've watched countless reruns of American Chopper, than they've seen this stuff every episode.) It's 2012 people, who in their right mind is making and selling "fat tire" motorcycles? I don't know ... nobody does!~

It's a mystery. If by, your definition of a "mystery" is a like when you kinda miss where you're walking and step into a pile of dog poop, then it's on your shoe, and you can rub it on the grass. But it ain't coming off. Everyone's looking at you wipe your foot back and forth on their lawn and they think you're one of the short bus special kids in the neighborhood. And, let's face it, you are. So, yeah. It's a mystery.

"Do you smell that?"

"I don't smell anything."

"No. It smells like shit."

The crowd was HEAVY! There was hardly an open seat in the Convention Center! Droves and droves of people plunking down $12 bike (or auto, no difference) parking, $20.00 entrance fee, and the steal of the deal, the $5.00 Event "Rider" Pin. I bought two (just in case I lost one, I want everyone to know "I rode mine!") I had a little trouble finding the SOA clothing booth, I needed to pick up some new threads for the upcoming season wardrobe stylings... everyone was wearing their support shirts, so I wanted to join in the rank and file and conform with the masses.

"Oi. What's up with that Boy'o?"

Are you kidding me? This is the autograph line for Chibs and Lyla? Why are they wearing clothing? I thought they were going to "go nude" for this show? Anyway, the line was about 200 deep. So I cut to the end and snuck in through the cops, up the stairs, planted a pucker on Lyla and yanked Chibs beard. So sweet. I barely even felt the tazers.

More later. The good part of this show. Besides leaving. But, the one good "redeeming" part of this show was the DOUCHE LAROUCHE ~ UNDER THE SEA DISPLAY. More pics and some video on that coming up. Respect to the Douche.

And for the sake of the "uninformed" searcher who's google surfing words like "Easyrider" and "Biker" and "Anaheim Convention Center" to see pictures of this event; it's true name was Bike Show 2012, Easyrider Events. Because, after all, everyone get's tired at some point of searching for porn. I'm sure they can appreciate a mild sense of humor in their "born to be wild" and "ride to live, live to ride" lives.

Saturday was a long day. Started at the Biltwell Garage Sale in Murrieta at the new HQ. Doubt they made any payolla but I'll be they cleaned out their storage space. Pick up some really great $1 deals from Bills "Magic Milk Create." and some other goodies. Prices were ridiculously low low low....

Good turnout in the morning (mostly cause it was something to do "other" than what we ended up doing anyway which most people had no intention of doing. More photos on that later.)

Picked up, yet another, new(er)(used) seat for the Shovelhead. Just couldn't pass it up for the price.

Well, if you haven't seen the NEW toppings site (which is where I stole these 3 pics from. Why not show what you really allow people to sell there? Cause what they're selling is Non-Cycle Shit!) for the Swaps this year, here it is; TOPPINGS EVERNTS SO CALCYCLE SWAP MEET. Yet, I still find it incredibly lame that they'll let Non-Cycle Vendors in this alledged "cycle swap meet." The best monthly swap and the absolute worst monthly swap all wrapped up together.

Not that I'd ever expect anything to get better, but for the "well, why don't you say something productive about it" crowd.

a.) Drop the fucking $10 entrance fee. It's not a motorcycle show or even "event" so why are you charging as if it is? $2 would be reasonable. $10 says, "We know we can rape you and not worry about it." which brings me to what you should be worried about in my next point.

b.) Crack down on the bullshit vendors that sell absolute Non-motorcycle and Non-Cycle related shit. You have rules posted for a reason, yet, I don't know what that reason is? Since it's obvious, you'll let anyone and everyone break them. Janitorial supplies? Bedding and Comforters? Used Toys, McDonalds Beanie Babies? Sporting Goods Used Equipment? Garden Stone Art? Cooking and Kitchen Aids? Serioulsy, not a damn thing to do with motos or cycles. If I wanted any of this shit I'd go to Target (and it'd be a hella lot better quality there than the faded boxed crap vendors here are selling!).

I'm just flogging the dead horse here... So will we continue to "attend" this non-event waste of time? Probably not as much as we have for the last year. Maybe for the photographer in me, but maybe a whole lot less.

Well that sucks. But, what are you going to do in a place where shit like this happens? I wonder if they'll still let tourists travel through the country two-upped on a motorcycle? Maybe, someone will get the "idea" to have them build concept bikes for Harley Davidson (there's a company that could actually use a concept bike... think about it). Will Tig ever give Gemma the big "Oh!" again? Will Unsers Sportster ever see the rubber hit the road? Will Opie return? "Sounds like lying to me..." is about as poetic as this show gets. Who, in their right mind, would align themselves with this "group" (I hesitate to call them a Club). Yes, it's only a mytho based on Hamlet, fine. Backstabbing brothers who go about backstabbing brothers, and just about every other person in and around the small town of Charming.

Here's the skinny. A racially-hair confused white guy sits in an office and talks on the phone, raido, etc. etc., he's got lots of drama going on all around him, like a messy desk and not having any ice to chill beer ($10 for a bottle of bud light. I know, it's funny... there's a thought. You run what again? Oh yeah, a Saloon.), there's some other poeple on staff who run around like they've got important business going on underfoot, yadda yadda yadda. Strippers who don't strip. Musicians who don't play. Bikers who don't ride. That's Wonder Bread M/C. How to improve the show? Give him a pet Baboon to to tote around the Saloon grounds with on a dog lease. Have his girlfriend (?) and all the other gyrating girls wear ball gags during the show (during the entire show) so we don't ever have to hear them talk again about the horror's of working behind a bar and being forced to dance to earn a living... my oh my.

The Hairy Bikers, as if cooking posts in blogs were'nt enough, now you've got half hour programs spotlighting how to cook with trash can lids and dried steer manure while roasting frog meat. Why in the hell do we continue to steal television shows from England. "Hay lo, I like the, how to you say, Taco Bella?"

There's no Eva Mendez, but I'm sure they can find some juicy tang for this Eastern European epic. I mean, you've got Nicolas Cage who's one of the best actors in Hollywood right? He can carry any sequel. The mere fact that they put a V-Maxx in the movie instead of some kinda hell-born OCC Chopper gives them RESPECT of the highest degree. There's a few other movies that might have motorcycles in them, Dredd (Judge Dredd) being the most likely (September 2012), and there's sure to be something in the next Dark Knight movie (although calling it a motorcycle might be a yoga stretch).

Seeing as how the entire planet is going to come to a grinding halt on December 21st, 2012, we are prepared to offer you our best (wishes) until that time. We may not be able to provide you with a means of escape from the worlds ultimate fate, but we will try to provide you our form of "original distraction" until that time. And time is, evidently, short. Like Danny Devito. So, let's face it. You didn't come here for or expecting anything serious did you? Nope.

Rule (of) the Blogosphere
(as it pertains to Chopper Culture)
1.) You must post pictures of Bikes. You can take them yourself (with a camera) or you can take them yourself (with a right click). Terry posted a method to steal even pictures that had download disables on your Mac. Anyone can take a asexual picture of a motorcycle. The talent comes from taking creative posturing pictures; dropped bikes, bike details, bike relationships with owners, bike in mid air, bikes in disrepair, bikes in the night, and bikes on a plane. I will not ride my bike on a train.

2.) You must post pictures of Bike parts. This could be gas tanks, oil tanks, tail lights, hand grips, anything rare, expensive, fabbed up, garage find'ed, polished or polish, patina'd or broken, anything but chrome gromettes. Why not Chrome Gromettes? Well, we've discovered they are, the DEVIL.

3.) You have to post pictures of Bros. The more beards the better. Just don't call them "Bear" cause that means something entirely irrelevant in the Big Book of Webster. Dressing alike or similar in fashion will project an image of unity among the group of individuals (aka Bros) that are herein pictured. One of the easiest ways to simulate this is; just have everyone wear Black Tee Shirts. Simple method.

4.) Don't forget the Ladies. Sweater Puppies. Headlights. The Twins. Mamaries. Chesticles. Bee Stings. Cans. Babylons. That is, topless girlfriends, wives, neighbors, relatives, etc. who can spike the vollyball over the net with a mere glance. Having them stand in any of the above mentioned photos is a guarantee "Stat Push" on your blog visitation counter. It works something like this; they say that 89% of all Internet traffic is porn searches. That leaves only 11% of the surf culture looking for (potentially) your blog. What you need to do is go all "Twilight" on their ass and suck that traffic out of them like a pint of blood. Extra points for Puffys!

5.) This is what's known as the "Fifth Element" It's that secret ingredient in your Colonel Sanders fried chicken that makes the mouth water and the starfish pucker. It could be anything, and often times is what causes blogs to fail miserably because "You're not doing it right." It could be food which is very common these days. It could be World War II planes, punk rock 12" LP album covers with Youtube song links, Hipster Art, Ghetto Funnies, Skateboards, Fashion, Belt Buckles, Leather Wallets, magazine scans, or merely vintage pictures relating to Choppers (usually in black and white, but occasionally in faded and slightly out of focus color). This element, done correctly, will be the second bannana to your main theme that actually is the olfactory attractant to your blogs sweet smelling whaf. Some will go too far, and resort to hardcorn pornography, gun wounds, or something else that is equally repulsive, like custom Vans from the 70's, and lose more visitors than they gain. Sad, sad. sad.

Pretty much, if you're thinking of creating a blog, it's as easy as Tempura Battered Hot Dogs. And who isn't? Everyone has one. Every Re One. This is your Lady Hump Manifest for Success. And don't forget your "Tag Line." It's gotta be something that others will remember in addition to your blog name. Previously, I've used such hit's as "Respect The Sportster" and "Ride the Rainbow" but nothing say's Lady Hump better than, "Sportsters Not Dead, They Just Suck New." So go on, use a little creative drop of dew juice and come up with something Grand. Here's some fresh ideas to get you rolling...

You might have missed it, but during the year I got the brillant (key word: ant) idea to do some "Breaking Hump" headers when one of my favorite shows (guess which one? It's not SOA... wha?) was premiering a new season, which due to work I still haven't seen (but I will DVD it). They didn't stay up long on the blog, but it was fun. Many a Lady Hump visitor's wife thought, "Now I know my husband is Gay..." when they came across them surfing my net. Man, the year is already over (at least almost) and we had a lot of fun (in our own mildly* retarded way) amusing ourselves. There's one photographer I always appreciate who is dedicated to taking the most awesome bike pictures he can at (seemingly) as many motorcycle events as he can. His continual involvement in posting photos on flickr for the world to see is a generous gift to those who are able to appreciate it. I've asked him if I could use one of his photos (above) and direct people to his flickr stream. He graciously agreed.

I could have picked any of thousands of Sportster pictures he has, but this one, aside from being relatively recent, shows something most "Americans" can't comprehend (and it's not just this one photo that shows what I'm talking about, he's got tons of them that are packing it on just like this); the Art of getting Loaded. Sportsters in the Parking Lot at David Mann

The Parking Lot at David Mann Chopperfest was previously a great opportunity for taking a lot of cool motorcycles, this year not so much. Seem's there is a change in the lot; the pendalum is swinging hard into the stocker / bagger / accessorized with ape hangers and aftermarket mufflers crowd. Shame. Hard to take relatively decent shots without a bagger or even a sport bike hogging the background. Plus, the event (?) parking for motorcycles needs to be approx. 2/3 bigger. They'll make a coral that'll hold about 200 bikes when there'll be 600 looking for parking.
